Our Story

Pomelo & Pearl is deeply inspired by the natural world, where contrast exists in quiet harmony.

The name itself holds this duality. Pomelo evokes something fresh, bright, and alive. Pearl carries a sense of grace, softness, and time. Together, they reflect the balance that define the brand.

Each piece is dreamed, designed, and made locally in small quantities using deadstock fabrics. The materials are limited, the process is thoughtful, and no two
garments are exactly the same. This approach is not only a commitment to sustainability, but to creating clothing
that feels personal. Pieces that hold character, history, and care.

At its core, Pomelo & Pearl is about returning to yourself. Clothing that doesn’t transform you into someone else, but reveals who you already are. Silhouettes that move with the body rather than define it. Details that are felt more than seen.

Pomelo & Pearl invites you to dress with intention. To find beauty in less. To build a wardrobe that tells your
story.

Pomelo & Pearl was founded by Dakota Monica — a creative and entrepreneur working at the intersection of
style, storytelling, and self-expression.

For as long as she can remember, Dakota has been drawn to making things. Over time, that instinct evolved into a deeper curiosity around clothing — how it can shape the way we move through the world, and how it
can reflect who we are.

After years spent building businesses in hospitality, Dakota found herself returning to that creative instinct. What began as a personal exploration became a practice in understanding identity through getting
dressed.

Pomelo & Pearl is the natural extension of that process. Her approach to design is rooted in feeling. Pieces that are lived in, moved in, and returned to. She is drawn to contrast — softness and structure,
simplicity and detail, the balance between ease and intention.

Through Pomelo & Pearl, Dakota explores clothing as a tool for clarity. An invitation to slow down, to dress with intention, and to come back to yourself.
